Start with one product that can rotate, reveal two details, and return to its default view. Prepare a compressed model, a static product image, and descriptions of the relevant angles. Agree on a loading budget and a set of devices to check.
Ship the static state first
Show the key product information with an image and text. Load the model when the visitor opens the viewer. Measure model size, download time, and time until interaction so you can distinguish network and rendering delays. Use Frontend Design to plan the viewer controls and loading state.
Check controls and fallback
Give rotation, reset, and close controls clear names. Check touch scrolling and keyboard exit. Use Webapp Testing to exercise the narrow viewport, a failed load, and recovery to the static image. Keep dimensions and relevant details available in text.
Record acceptance conditions
Record the device, network, model version, and observations. Check loading, controls, and fallback separately. Reuse the same fixtures and devices when comparing a later material or animation change.
